Detailed Components and Operation

The entire line consists of 8 main parts, each playing a vital role in the transformation of steel coil into a perfect U-Profil.

1. Abwickler (Decoiler)

The Uncoiler is the starting point, securely holding the heavy steel coil. It is designed to safely and smoothly unroll the material, feeding it into the line. Our uncoilers feature reliable braking systems to control material tension, which is crucial for maintaining product quality.

2. Leveler (Straightener)

Steel coils often retain internal stress and curvature. The Leveler removes coil-set and cross-bow, ensuring the steel strip is perfectly flat and straight before entering the forming stage. This step guarantees the dimensional accuracy of the final U profile roll forming machine Produkt.

3. Servo Feeder and Puncher

This highly precise station controls the exact length of material fed into the line and performs any necessary pre-punching of holes (like mounting holes or slots) required in the final U-Profil product. The Servo-Zuführung uses advanced controls for incredibly accurate stopping and positioning, while the Puncher utilizes powerful hydraulics to quickly and cleanly punch patterns.

4. Accumulator

The Accumulator acts as a buffer or storage loop for the leveled and punched strip. Its main function is to allow the Uncoiler/Leveler/Puncher to temporarily stop or slow down without interrupting the continuous high-speed operation of the Roll Former. This maximizes uptime and efficiency across the entire U-Profil-Rollformmaschine line.

5. The Core of Our U Channel Roll Forming Machine: The Roll Former

This is the heart of the system, transforming the flat steel strip into the desired U-Profil shape. It is composed of several key sub-sections:

• Zuführung & Führung: Ensures the strip enters the main forming section perfectly centered and aligned with the roller dies.

• Roll Forming Part: This section uses a series of precision-machined roller sets (passes) to gradually bend the steel strip. 7. Hydraulic Station

Providing the necessary power for key functions like the Puncher, the Hydraulic Cutter, and the Uncoiler’s braking system, the Hydraulic Station is a self-contained unit with a motor, pump, and fluid reservoir. This reliable power source ensures the powerful, rapid, and controlled movements required for efficient operation.

8. Collection Table

The final product, the newly cut U-Profil, is discharged onto the Collection Table. This simple yet vital component allows finished goods to be stacked and batched, ready for packaging and shipping. Our collection tables are sturdy and sized to handle long products efficiently.
